PROFESSIONAL TRAINING: GUIDELINES ON USING FORMS AND DOCUMENTING COUNSELING SESSIONS
On August 27, 2026, the Center for Research and Education of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (CED) organized a professional training session themed “Guidelines on using forms and documenting Counseling sessions” for the Psychological Counseling Department.
The session was attended by Mr. Nguyen Tien Hung – Vice Director of CED, Mrs. Nguyen Thi Ngoc, M.Sc. in Psychology as the lead trainer, alongside teachers and staff working at CED, and student interns.
Opening the session, Mr. Nguyen Tien Hung gave a welcoming talk and introduced the key objectives and contents of the training. Under the expert guidance of Ms. Nguyen Thi Ngoc, the teachers and interns:
• Reviewed and systematized core concepts, confidentiality principles, and procedures throughout the psychological counseling process.
• Learned and practiced the use of forms and techniques for systematically and properly duplicating counseling records.
• Engaged in role-playing exercises based on realistic counseling scenarios, followed by open discussions to share insights and refine handling skills.
The training served as a valuable opportunity for CED teachers to standardize professional workflows, while providing student interns with practical exposure and case management skills. This activity significantly contributes to enhancing psychological support services, ensuring that both staff and interns are well-equipped to accompany students and the community at CED.
