TRAINING OF SIGN LANGUAGE ON MEDICAL THEME – SESSION 4
On September 20, 2021, Center for Research and Education of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (CED) continued the second week of the 8-session online training of sign language on medical theme for 47 participants who are teachers in speacial schools and parents of children with hearing loss in HCMC, Hanoi, Dong Nai, An Giang, Danang, Dong Thap, Ninh Thuan, Binh Thuan, Dak Nong, Dak Lak, Lam Dong, Nha Trang, Kien Giang.
The training is facilitated mainly by Ms. Tran Phuong Nhung, together with the deaf assistant, Ms. Le Thi Thu Huong. There are also other deafs who practice with the participants. On this 4th session, participants were divided into groups to practice role play with the deafs as doctors and patients for medical examination in hospitals.
This is training in the framework of the project “Promoting the initial legal support and implementation of regulations on medical examination and treatment for people with hearing loss (deaf, hard of hearing and deafened)” of CED, sponsored by EU through JIFF-Oxfam.
