ART SESSION: RAINY SEASON
On Tuesday, September 29, 2026, at the Center for Research and Education of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (CED), the primary class students enjoyed a fun and creative Art lesson with the theme “Rainy Season.”
During the lesson, under the guidance of the teacher, the students:
+ Observed and explored the rainy season, becoming familiar with familiar images such as rain, wind, clouds, dark clouds, raincoats, umbrellas, and raindrops.
+ Learned how to represent water and rain in their artwork, exploring how to use colors, lines, and different materials to create lively and expressive images.
+ Explored a variety of creative art techniques, using straws to create colors and lines, brushes to create different color effects, and leaves to add natural and unique details to their paintings.
+ Chose their own colors and ways of decorating, combining different techniques and materials according to their own ideas to create unique rainy-season artworks.
Each student had their own way of observing and expressing their ideas. Some used shades of blue to create the cool and refreshing feeling of the rainy season, while others combined different colors to make their paintings more vivid. The carefully attached leaves, together with the color effects created using straws and brushes, made each artwork unique and interesting.
Through this activity, the students not only learned about the rainy season, but also had the opportunity to experience new and creative art techniques, develop their fine motor and hand - eye coordination skills, and use their imagination. Each completed artwork reflected the students’ creativity, effort, and joy during their Art lesson at CED.
