PRESENTATION ON “LIPREADING”
Ms. Duong Phuong Hanh - Director of the Center for Research and Education of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (CED) was invited to present on the topic "Lipreading" for 12 students of the Master of Rehabilitation Techniques, specialized in Speech Therapy, University of Medicine and Pharmacy, HCMC on January 6 and 10, 2023.
The presentation included the following contents:
- The concept of Lipreading and factors affecting lipreading.
- Designing lessons for teaching lipreading
- Practice designing lessons and teaching lipreading in real-life situations.
With the spirit of learning and active participation of the students and the sharing and practical experience of the lecturer, an open and vibrant learning space was created.
Center for Research and Education of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (CED) was honored to be invited to teach topics on Keyword signs, Lipreading in the Speech Therapy training program of Pham Ngoc Thach Medical University from 2014 to 2018, Danang Medical University in 2020 and HCMC University of Medicine and Pharmacy from 2020 to present. The program is sponsored by MCNV, TFA.
