TRAINING ON TEACHING SKILLS FOR TEACHERS

 

While students are still at home because of Covid, CED teachers were trained on skills for teaching students with hearing loss by Ms. Duong Phuong Hanh – Director of CED.

 

The first two sessions were on sign language/Deaf culture and listening through lips reading.

 

 

 

 

At CED, teachers were asked to teach students listening and speaking. Most of students were detected and wear hearing aids late. CED students are very profound deaf or adults with hearing loss come school late. Therefore, teaching them how to listen with hearing aids combined with lips reading is the main method at CED.

 

Currently CED also receives some students learning bi-language: sign language and spoken language.
