WATCH A MOVIE “The Micracle Worker”

“The Miracle Worker” – That is the name of the movie that the students at the Center for Research and Education of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (CED) watched together this last weekend.

Helen Adams Keller (June 27, 1880 - June 1, 1968) was an American writer, political activist, and lecturer. She was DeafBlind since childhood, so she could not communicate with anyone. Keller is unruly, difficult to control, often angry, screaming, breaking things when she couldn't understand or couldn't make people around her understand what she wanted to say. Helen Keller's parents invited Annie Sullivan - a teacher who just graduated to help her learn, have communication skills and independence with her life. It wasn't easy when Helen Keller wasn't cooperative. The biggest obstacle is the educational attitude of Hellen's parents: pampering and meeting all of Hellen's requests just because she was pitied and a child with disabilities.

In the end, thanks to the dedication, forgiveness, kindness and pure moral qualities of teacher Sullivan, Keller was impressed - a very important step before the education could begin.

The film brought the message "Disability is not the utmost of misfortune" (Hellen Keller), and it also cannot stop the greatness."
